Calvin Christian School is our second campus to be constructed at Suam, Bukwo District at the border of Uganda and Kenya.
The school is designed to be a fully-fledged nursery and primary 500-bed boarding school. The architectural drawings are attached.
The fundraiser for this campus was launched in June 2022 at Niagara, Canada when Noel our co-founder completed 50Miles raise funds. The fundraiser will be on for 24 months. You can give a one-time gift, or over a period of 2 years.
The north eastern part of the country performs the worst when it comes to child protection. Because of the porous borders between Uganda and Kenya, child traffickers find it very easy to take the undocumented innocent young souls to the middle east via Kenya for all kinds of abuse and in most cases organ business. The eastern part of Uganda still practices heinous and ancient traditions like female genital mutilation (FGM). Respect for the girl child in this part of the world is very scarce. This is a dark part of the world where we believe God is calling us to take the Light of the World. The statistics around children in this part of the region alone is a big attraction for us to respond in this small but significant way. But also, we are Schools Not Streets. It’s also 5 years since our first campus since our first campus opened at Luwero. The school was out for COVID19 for 2full years 2020-2021. The second campus is overdue.
